How does your personal and professional live affect your reading?  This week my personal life was rocked as some drama occurred in Alexandria City with a police offer shot and as he fights for his life.  My professional life was busy as I was working hard on our retreat and the boss's spring agenda.  So my evenings ended up being very busy and not conducive to reading, but this weekend made up for it in a big way!

A meme hosted by Sheila at BookJourney.

Finished this past week:
Haven's Wake by Ladette Randolph
Heart Like Mine by Amy Hatvany
Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch
The Wanderer by Robyn Carr

Currently Reading:
Blue Jeans and Coffee Beans by Joanne DeMaio

Next on the TBR pile:
When She Was Gone by Gwendolyn Gross

Both my personal and professional lives cut into my reading time, it looks like you got a chance to catch up over the weekend though!
I hope the police officer pulls through.

Wishing you a great reading reading week,

I also had a crazy work week last week, unplanned which makes it harder to manage BUT... I'm not dealing with a shooting so I can't complain.

I hope the officer is doing better and will recover. horrible. I will pray for him.

Cheers to a better week, a little more personal time.

You did pretty well for having a busy week! When my life gets crazy busy like that my reading does suffer a lot ;)

I am the same. Personal and professional life does take a cut in my reading time. Glad you made up for it at the weekend and hope that everything sorted itself out.

Loved Gone Girl. Hope you enjoyed it too.
